Members
While the Association may have many friends, supports and wellwishers, those who can become members (by expressing a desire to become a member, and paying a life membership fee of Rs.11) must fall into one of the following categories:
- Widow
- Separated Woman divorced legally
- Thrown out abandoned
- Walked out after mental and/ or physical torture
- Unmarried woman age 35 or more
- Woman living with husband, but the husband is so mentally disturbed, or physically handicapped that she is the one who is the "head of the household".
